For Covid-19 our appointment system fits with national guidelines. We offer GP consultations via telephone and video that you can book up to four weeks in advance. If when you speak to a GP they think you need to be seen face to face and it is safe to do so, they will arrange a convenient time with you. If you have a clinically urgent issue we have some same day appointments for a GP to call you, however these are for urgent issues only, we encourage you to plan for all routine or non-urgent clinical issues in advance.
An appointment is required to see the doctor or nurse. We offer 10-15 minute appointments for our doctors and nurses and they can be booked up to six weeks in advance. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your face to face appointment you will have to re-book.
We endeavour to let you book an appointment with the doctor or nurse of your choice at a time that suits you best. This may not always be possible especially at times of high demand and when the staff member is on study or annual leave.
We offer a telephone interpreter service, please give as much notice as possible if you need this.
Our opening hours are 8am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday and we also offer appointments until 9pm, 7 days per week at our extended access service at the nearby St Charles hub.
Your local pharmacist can help with various conditions such as minor cuts, sprains, aches, colds, headaches, rashes, cystitis. Pharmacist help, including a local pharmacy search tool.
